Goodwill

A voluntary accommodation by a company, with no legal obligation.

Goodwill means that a company helps voluntarily even though it is not legally required to, for example a repair after the warranty has expired. There is no entitlement to it. Do not confuse goodwill with your statutory rights: those you can always demand.
