Pre-Contractual Disclosure Duty

Duty to answer application questions truthfully.

When applying, the policyholder must truthfully answer the questions posed in text form about circumstances relevant to the risk. If they breach this, the insurer may, depending on the fault, withdraw, cancel, or adjust the contract.
