Duty of the Insured
A contractual duty of the insured, such as reporting a claim.
Obligations are duties within the insurance contract, for example reporting a claim on time or giving truthful information. If you breach them, the insurer may reduce the payout or be released from liability, but only where there is fault and a causal link.
