Insurance Certificate (Policy)
Document evidencing the insurance contract.
The insurance certificate, also called the policy, documents the content of the insurance contract: the insured risks, sum, premium, and term. It is an important proof when a claim arises. If it deviates from the application, special disclosure duties apply.
