Short-Time Work

Temporary reduction of working time.

In the case of a significant loss of work, the business can introduce short-time work; under certain conditions, the Employment Agency pays short-time work allowance as partial wage replacement. Its introduction requires a legal basis, for example in a collective agreement or with consent.
