Violation of Honor (Insult)

Attack on personal honor.

Insult, defamation and slander are punishable attacks on a person's honor. Value judgments are generally covered by freedom of expression, but disparaging abusive criticism and untrue statements of fact are not. In addition, civil law claims may come into consideration.
