Blood Alcohol Concentration (Per Mille)

Measure of the alcohol content in the blood.

From 0.5 per mille, there is an administrative offense in road traffic; from 1.1 per mille, there is absolute unfitness to drive and thus a criminal offense. Even from 0.3 per mille, a criminal offense can exist if signs of impairment appear. For new drivers, 0.0 per mille applies.
