Fixed-Term Tenancy Agreement

Fixed-term residential tenancy agreement.

A validly fixed-term residential tenancy agreement is only permissible if, at the conclusion of the contract, the landlord states in writing a legally recognized reason for the time limit, for example personal use or a planned demolition. Without such a reason, the contract is deemed to be of indefinite duration.
