Winter Tire Requirement
Situational obligation to use winter tires.
In wintry road conditions such as black ice, snow or icy frost, vehicles may only be driven with suitable winter tires (situational winter tire requirement). Anyone who drives with unsuitable tires risks a fine, and in the case of obstruction, higher rates and points.
