Acknowledgment of Paternity
Voluntary acknowledgment of paternity.
If the parents are not married, legal paternity is established by acknowledgment with the mother's consent. It is officially recorded, for example at the youth welfare office or a notary, and is a prerequisite for maintenance, care, and inheritance rights.
