Safe Following Distance

Minimum distance to the vehicle ahead.

A safe distance must be kept from the vehicle ahead that allows stopping even if it brakes suddenly. As a rule of thumb, this is half the speedometer value in meters. Too little distance can result in points and a driving ban depending on the speed.
