Legal Capacity
The capacity to be a bearer of rights and duties.
A person has legal capacity if they can be a bearer of rights and duties. For natural persons, legal capacity begins with the completion of birth and ends with death. This is to be distinguished from the capacity to contract, that is, the ability to conclude contracts effectively oneself.
