Legal Aid (Prozesskostenhilfe, PKH)
The state covers court and lawyer costs if you cannot afford them.
For court proceedings there is legal aid if your income is low and the claim has a prospect of success. The costs are covered in full or in installments. You file the application with the competent court, often together with the lawsuit.
