Prokura (Commercial Power of Representation)

A far-reaching authority to act in commerce.

The Prokura is an especially far-reaching, statutorily defined authority for the operation of a commercial business. The holder (Prokurist) can conclude almost all transactions that the commercial business entails. Its granting is entered in the commercial register.
