P-Konto (Attachment-Protection Account)
An account that protects a basic allowance from attachment.
Anyone may have their checking account converted into an attachment-protection account free of charge. Up to a monthly basic allowance, your money then remains available despite an attachment, for rent, food, and essentials. You must request the conversion from your bank; it is required by law.
