Private Accessory Prosecution

Active participation of the victim in the criminal proceedings.

Victims of certain crimes can join the prosecution as accessory prosecutors. They then receive rights such as access to the file, presence at the hearing, and the right to ask questions. In the case of serious crimes, the costs of a legal counsel are often covered.
