Broker Agreement
Arranging a deal in return for a commission.
Under a broker agreement, a commission is only owed if the broker proves or arranges a contract and that contract comes about as a result. In the letting of housing, the ordering-party principle (Bestellerprinzip) often applies, so that the commission is paid by whoever engaged the broker.
