Court Dunning Procedure

A fast court procedure to enforce a monetary claim.

In the court dunning procedure, a creditor applies for an order for payment (Mahnbescheid) without a judge examining the merits of the claim. If you receive an order for payment, acting quickly matters: you can lodge an objection within two weeks.
