Data Breach (Personal Data Breach)
Loss of or unauthorized access to data.
A data breach is a breach of the protection of personal data, for example through a hacker attack, loss or misdelivery. The controller must usually report it to the supervisory authority within 72 hours and, where there is a high risk, inform the data subjects.
