Priority Notice of Conveyance

Securing the claim to transfer of ownership.

In a property purchase, the priority notice of conveyance in the land register secures the buyer's claim to transfer of ownership. It prevents the seller from selling or encumbering the property to someone else in the meantime. It is an important protection until ownership is re-registered.
