Avoidance of Contract

Undoing a contract because you were deceived or mistaken.

Anyone who was fraudulently deceived or threatened at the conclusion of a contract, or who was seriously mistaken, can avoid the contract. A successful avoidance makes the contract invalid from the outset. In cases of deception or threat, you have up to one year to do so.
