A purchase where the goods are shipped; in a consumer sale the retailer bears the shipping risk.
If ordered goods are shipped and are lost or damaged in transit, the retailer bears the risk in a purchase by a consumer. You do not have to pay for something that never arrives, even if the retailer points to the carrier. Insist on delivery or a refund.
