Legal Remedy (Appeal)
A formal remedy against decisions.
A legal remedy is a formal means by which a court decision is reviewed by a higher instance, for example an appeal on facts (Berufung), an appeal on points of law (Revision) or a complaint (Beschwerde). Legal remedies are subject to deadlines; as long as the deadline is running or the remedy has been filed, the finality of the decision is suspended.
