Warning Letter (Copyright)
Demand to cease and desist after an infringement.
In the case of a copyright infringement, such as filesharing or the unauthorized use of images, a warning letter is often issued, combined with a demand to submit a cease-and-desist declaration and to pay costs. Signing or paying too hastily should be avoided.
